China Change is a Non-Profit organization founded and launched in June 2013 by Yaxue Cao and Tom M. to disseminate information about human rights, rule of law, and civil society in China. The goal of China Change is to help people understand aspects of China’s political landscape that are the most censored and least understood. China Change reports and translations are linked or cited by major media outlets such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, and The Telegraph (to name a few), and are cited in Congressional and other governmental and NGO reports.
One Freedom is how the Asia Freedom Institute (AFI) designated the community of organizations, alliances and coalitions working to promote freedom and democracy in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and PRC-occupied territories. Many of these organizations work globally, lobby foreign governments, conduct primary research, bring uncensored news and voices from people living in China and Chinese-occupied territories to the world, and counter PRC’s malign influence in Asia and across the globe. AFI will spotlight and amplify the work of these organizations.
