July 9, 2025: Asia Freedom Institute in its ongoing publication of reports based on edited transcripts from its Freedom Hour podcast program released its latest report on the Uyghur freedom struggle and the pivotal role of Uyghur women. The report, an edited transcript of a podcast streamed in October 24, featured a conversation with Rushan Abbas and Zubayra Shamseden, two prominent Uyghur women leaders. The two speakers shared their perspectives on the ongoing Uyghur freedom struggle, the urgent challenges facing their people, and the pivotal role of Uyghur women.
