Desperate Messages from Uyghurs Facing Starvation and Death Under Zero COVID Lockdowns

Uyghur organizations in exile are reporting on increasing hardship and mounting desperation faced by Uyghurs amid Zero COVID lockdowns. According to the Uyghur Human Rights Project, food is not being delivered to Uyghur households in the Ghulja area of East Turkistan. Several messages received by the organization also report deaths due to starvation.
